At GHPS, the classrooms are spacious, vibrant, child friendly, print rich and well lit. Whether it be the gleaming number line on the wall, the colourful craft work strung across the class, or even bulletin boards, each part of the class contributes to the learning experience of the child. The furniture in each classroom is child friendly and safe. The housekeeping staff on duty on each floor ensures that cleanliness in the classroom is maintained at all times.

For our School Management, the safety and security of students are of paramount importance. To ensure that our students are safe, secure at all times, we have –

• 24 hours security at the school premises.
• Installed CCTVs around the school and in the classes.
• State of the art fire safety equipment on our premises.
• Trained and monitored housekeeping staff on duty inside washroom areas and on each floor.
• A complete first-aid kit and fire safety equipment in our CNG school buses.
• Issued I-cards for students which they must wear at all times in the school as well as on school trips.

School has its own fleet of buses which play on the routes decided by the school. The routes and pickup points are displayed on the notice board of the school. Parents desirous of availing this facility indicate their willingness in the appropriate column in the admission form. It is the sole responsibility of a parent to escort their ward to and from from the fixed bus stops. The bus facility is extended to the parents at their risk and responsibility. The child can be debarred from availing the facility, in case of indiscipline.

Biology lab of the school provide all the facilities to the students where they can study their subject with hands on experience. It is well lit and spacious.. Precision instruments, charts and models make learning fun and effective. This is a place where our students are given a chance to ‘discover’ before they are ‘told’. Children have the liberty to make models and projects by availing lab facilities.

The campus has a computer laboratory accessible to students during school hours with advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software to cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. Students get a chance to gain familiarity with Software Technology and are also able to do comprehensive research for their projects and presentations. Teachers constantly monitor the students’ stations to ensure that undesirable sites are not explored.

The Physics lab is equipped with sufficient apparatus required by students in various experiments and for their extended experimentation in projects. The experiments related to various topics in Physics can be performed from the elementary to the most sophisticated level.

The Chemistry lab is well equipped with apparatus and always has sufficient stock of chemicals to perform various experiments and projects as prescribed in CBSE curriculum. The Chemistry laboratory is designed keeping in mind all the statutory norms and safety standards. It is well ventilated as well as spacious. It has some of the most accurate digital measuring instruments required for measuring chemicals. Separate place for storing chemicals and work tables with acid proof tiles makes it highly safe for the students to perform experiments.

At GHPS, the Mathematics laboratory is a place where students can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is the place to enjoy mathematics through informal exploration. The Maths Lab provides an opportunity for the students to discover Mathematics through the methodology of ‘Learning by Doing’. Many of the activities present a problem or a challenge, with the possibility of generating further challenges and problems. The activities help students to visualize, manipulate and reason.

The ‘Visual Arts’ Room where expression of creativity and imagination are given wings. It is an outlet for individual thought, visualization and exploration of inner creativity, expression of imagination and interpretation of ideas, events and environment. The endeavour is to infuse a sense of aesthetic appreciation in each child, an ability to enjoy and appreciate beauty. The elaborate Art Studio with the skilled faculty guide the children to achieve finesse through numerous techniques.

The inception of this innovative concept was done with a view to encourage the correct usage of the English language. With the growing importance of English language in the global scenario the students need to be equipped and empowered with it. Our fully equipped language laboratory provides the students with a different learning experience, motivates them to use the language thereby enhancing their grasp of the language.

All the classrooms across the school are enabled with smart boards. They facilitate the learning of the students. The interactive board turns a typical classroom into a fun learning environment. It enriches classrooms in several ways by providing hands on collaboration and creating the perfect learning setting. Students find it easy to engage with lessons and gain a better understanding of the overall lesson.

A very convincing form to express one’s feelings is through the art of dance and drama. Coaching is provided to the students to learn all types of dance forms, Indian and western. Drama and theatre interests are also given due importance at GHPS. GHPS provides a wide spectrum of opportunities for students in the field of music. We believe that real enjoyment is enjoyment with self. It is not having things, but in having mastery, having victory over oneself.

To enjoy the spirit of music, training and guidance in both Indian and western music are imparted with the help of a whole array of instruments.

Practicing art brings peace and a sense of happiness to the young minds. A separate art studio caters to the needs of different types of art from basic drawing, sketching and painting to professional coaching in the same fields.
